Runaway Martini

The Story
We have a few "house cocktails" at the Runaway Anchor, but this is my FAVORITE. I wanted to learn how to make the "best martini". So, I watched a MASTER CLASS for how to do it, and it was there that I learned about the crucial part dilution plays in cocktails. It has served me well in many other drinks, but nowhere more so than our "house martini". When it says stir slowly for 2 minutes, don't doubt it. Too fast and it's watery. Too slow it's boozy. But if you stick to the template (lots of ice!) you will be pouring the best martini of your life before you know it. Cheers!!
